Una platica que tuve hoy me hizo recordar lo que es perder a un amigo y el sentimiento que provoca en sus seres queridos. El principal tema aqui es el duelo... pero bueno la idea no es ponernos tristes, saludos a todos y espero que les guste! _____________
I had a conversation today that made me remeber how it feels to loose a friend and how it affects the people that loved him. The main theme here is "Mourning".. anyhow, it is not my intention the make people sad, I hope you all like this painting!, cheers!
love how you captured the emotions that runs through you when you loose someone, lost my sister a year ago, and i can relate to the sadness, feeling lonely and fragile, but the light in the picture hints of hope, how you one day look back on memories with a smile truly amazing artwork <3

the first thing that struck me when i saw this was the anatomy and the skin. oh my GOSH this is beautiful, and the facial expression makes her look real... the pose, the environment.. the simplicity of the background... HNNG i have to fave it! thanks for sharing your art
such a nice painting! It sad, sure, but it's very...hm..lemme think of the right word... I mean, my eyes are instantly drawn to her eyes and cheeks, and you can see the makeup running down her face..it's realistic in the way it's portraying a girl with thick, long lashes..but stained. Then my eyes go to her freckles on her shoulder then i look back up at the freckles on her face and see more realism (in the aspect of flawed skin). Finally I look at the detail of the water running along her entire frame; her hair really looks plastered to her cheeks, her shorts really look like they're folded over and wet, and her legs look so anatomically correct! The mood seems to really get me through what clothes you gave her: shorts and a small t-shirt..while some people would say it looks like fanservice because she's getting rained on, but to me, it makes me feel cold just looking at her! I realize "if I were in the rain and crying, it'd be cold to begin with...but all that in a tiny outift? I'd be super cold". I guess that coldness really helps bring out the coldness that she's feeling? Plus her controlled yet unsettled stance (I get the "control through her arms, the "unsettled" through her leg being so tensed and up at a peculiar pose) really helps show more range of emotion than if she was just on her knees with her face in her hands in the rain. (all in all, very VERY nice job with this one. It's lovely. <3 )
